Community over 85 percent sold; limited inventory available adjacent to Publix

(Tampa, FL) – Grand Central at Kennedy developers Ken Stoltenberg and Frank Bombeeck, Mercury Advisors, announced today an agreement has been reached with Publix Super Markets. The Lakeland-based grocer plans to open a 37,600 sq. ft. store in the fall of 2017 on the ground floor of The Channel Club, another Mercury Advisors development (details available first quarter 2016) adjacent to Grand Central at Kennedy.

“We all know that living in the Channel District, and especially at Grand Central at Kennedy, is a pleasure,” said Stoltenberg. “Now, we look forward to welcoming our newest retailer to the neighborhood, Publix Super Markets, where we all know shopping is a pleasure.”

Located at 1208 E. Kennedy Blvd. in the heart of the Channel District, Grand Central at Kennedy is Tampa’s premier urban neighborhood just blocks from Downtown Tampa. Already, the neighborhood boasts a gym, restaurants, hair salon, dry cleaners, pub, and the Grand Central courtyard adjacent to the planned Publix Super Market.

“Mercury Advisors has been working for years to bring a much-needed grocery store to the Channel District,” said Stoltenberg. “Now, Publix will add to the existing conveniences already here at Grand Central at Kennedy that we know our residents find so central to their urban lifestyle.”

Grand Central at Kennedy is nearly 85 percent sold out, and has a limited inventory of studio, 1- and 2- bedroom residences available starting in the mid $200s.
